Puridiom can manage and check budgets for cost centers or any combination of business units within the application. Key budget data can be exchanged between Puridiom and the financial system to provide accurate controls.

Puridiom includes Budget Management capabilities to assist you in ensuring funds are encumbered and to establish standard budget criteria. Multiple fiscal years are supported. Once established, the budget information can be automatically ‘consulted’ at various times during the procurement process including:

Each deducts from the overall budget balance and moves from one bucket to another as it makes it way through the procurement process. Other budget checks can be implemented based upon your specific requirements.

Additionally, the authority to charge against budgets can be defined by department or by individual users. As budget balances are checked, so is the authority to charge against the budget. Budget authorities are identified within Puridiom’s Budget Creation process.
